Maidenhead is a Massachusetts-based thrash/death metal band formed in 2013, blending the razor-sharp aggression of classic thrash with the technical brutality and atmosphere of old-school death metal. Influenced by genre-defining acts such as Megadeth, Slayer, Morbid Angel, and Death, the band's sound is built on high-velocity riffing, progressive sangwriting, and uncompromising lyrical themes delivered through intense, high-impect live performences.
The band was founded by Zack Roberts (guitar), serves as Maidenhead's primary songwriter and principal lyricist. Across both of the band's full-length releases, Roberts has written or co-written the majority of the music and lyrics, establishing the band's creative direction and thematic identity. Following the release of the debut album, Decapitation of a Maiden (2023).
